We are the Land of the “Big Five” – Lions, Rhinos, Buffalos, Leopards and Elephants, Lake Victoria – Largest Inland Lake in the World, Mount Kenya the 2nd Highest Mountain in Africa and the Great Rift Valley- One of the Worlds’ Greatest natural phenomenon.

We are full steam ahead in our programes for 2009  although some events had to be  re-sheduled due some unavaoidable logistical circumstances .

Welcome to "Ngalawa" Outrigger Canoe Sailing event set for 9-11 October  2009 . This is an indigenious vessel event open to all. Ngalawa is Swahili word for Ourigreer Canoe Sailing vessel

Get you Teams ready for our Exciting "DUAN  WU" Dragon Boat regatta  and festival from 6th-9th  August 2009 in Mombasa . Dragon boat are ancient Chineese Tradititional boats can accomodate upto 22 paddlers and are propelled by manual power through using paddles.

Our Enviromental campaigns however continue with vigour , with a major marine Clean up on 21st february 2009 to celebrate the 2009 UN world Water Day. 

Lake Victoria is a beautifully  large and somewhat unpredictable lake in Western  Kenya, is  home to many  anthtroppological discoveries  of human past, will the next destination for a major water sports event  organzied by KWST in 2010.

1st International Dragon Boat Regatta and Festival  from 13-14 December 2008.at Tudor Creek,Mombasa .Welcome to this fist time watersports activity in Kenya .Registration now open. United States Dragon Boat  team  from Southern Califonia and Uganda will be one of the participating  teams.

 Come and Join us Clean Up our Marine Environment on Saturday, 6th December 2008 to celebrate our 45years of Uhuru/Independence .

Ist International Canoeing Marathon to be held from 5-8 November 2008 from Mombasa to Malindi  has attracted participants from Italy, South Africa Dubai and Kenya . Francesco Gambella  (www.francescogambella.com) and  Danielle Scarpi both Itallian  kayak Champions have confirmed participation.
